Government Code §56378 authorizes LAFCo to initiate special studies to examine service delivery and governance alternatives. Pursuant to this authority, Marin LAFCo has prepared a Special Study on Fire and Emergency Services in Marin County.

This study will be discussed at the December 11, 2025 commission meeting. All comments should be sent to cdevereux@marinlafco.org no later than Thursday January 22, 2026 at 5p.m.
