Marin LAFCo currently employs three (3) full-time employees.

  • The Executive Officer:  Serves as an at-will employee, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations and implementing the policies and procedures established by the Commission in meeting the agency’s regional growth management duties.
  • The Policy Analyst:  Serves as project manager – among many other responsibilities – for the municipal service reviews undertaken by Marin LAFCo.
  • The Commission Clerk:  Provides general administrative support, as well as numerous other duties.

All employees are provided salaries and benefits consistent with similar classifications established by the County of Marin.  Staff is also provided defined-benefit pensions through the Marin County Employee’s Retirement Association.
